St Fechins GAA club notes

January 23, 2017

St Fechins and Louth Hurler Seaghan Conneely is nominated for Drogheda Independent Sports Star of the Year Award after his goal scoring heroics for Louth in Croke Park. We hope that all St Fechins supporters will fill in and return the form in the Sport section of the DI this week.

Best of luck to our players who are representing Louth this weekend. On Sunday Bevan Duffy and Ronan Holcroft will be part of the Louth Senior who face Dublin in the O'Byrne Cup Final in Drogheda. Good luck also to our players who line out with Louth Hurlers against Longford in the Keogh Cup and with Louth Ladies as they open their National League campaign away to Carlow.

Even though our pitches are quiet at the moment our committees are very busy preparing for the new year. Our underage coaches have been attending coaching seminars, our PR team has been attending workshops and our development committee has been planning the future of the club. We would love to hear from anyone who like to be involved or could bring their expertise and skills to our club committees.
