Kelly ratified for third year

Colin Kelly will manage Louth senior footballers in 2017 after he was ratified at a county board meeting this evening.
The Newtown Blues clubman helped Louth to claim Division 4 league honours in the spring with an impressive final win over Antrim at Croke Park.
Louth accounted for Carlow in the championship before losing a quarter-final to neighbours Meath. They led Derry at half time in a qualifier six days after their Leinster elimiation, before tiring in the second half and falling away.
Kelly was appointed to the role in October 2014 in succession to Aidan O'Rourke.
