Events:

Our Couch to 5k has been running for 3 weeks now and has been a great success so far. Next week is the last week you will be able to register to partake, if interested training takes place every Wednesday up at our Club House on the Platin Road at 7:30pm. For more information please private message our Facebook page or get in contact with any club member.

Our Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others programme has also been running now for 3 weeks and has seen over 18 women take part to date. The women have been thoroughly enjoying themselves and are already showing massive improvement in their fitness and skillset. Training sessions are held every Thursday night in the Abacus school, Priest Lane.

We will be holding a Club Gear Morning on the 14th of March, from 10:00hrs to 12:00hrs. On the day there will be garments available to try on and determine your referred size. A rep from PlayrFit will be present on the day to take orders. The club will receive €2 from every garment sold, so you will not only be getting some new gear you will also be financially supporting your club.

Sponsorship:

The club would like to thank Brain Farrell of Airways Motor Company for sponsoring a new set of adult Jerseys for the 2020 season. Your generosity is extremely appreciated.

Results:

Our adult team came out victors in their first game of the season against the Sean McDermotts in Darver on Thursday night at 20:30hrs. Notable perfromers on the night were Chris Cudden, Alan Fanning and Jaime McCormack.

Fixtures:

Our adult team's next outing is away to Glen Emmets of Tullyallen. The game is on Sunday 16th with throw in at 11:00hrs. We wish them all the best of luck in their opening match.

Louth footballers take on Offaly this coming Sunday, 16th of February. This is the second outing of this years Alliance League Division 3 campaign. The game throws in at 2:00pm in the Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda. We ask our members to get down and show their support to the men in red, nothing beats an inter county match on a Sunday.

Louth hurlers are also out this weekend at home to Donegal in Louth's centre of Excellence, Sunday 16th at 2:00pm. We wish the men the very best of luck.

Fundraising:

Louth GAA are still running their impressive WEE COUNTY HOUSE DRAW. If anyone is interested in entering the draw they can contact us at Wolfe Tones GFC for tickets or purchase them online at www.pickahouse.ie. The draw is scheduled to take place on Saturday 16th of May 2020. We encourage everyone to purchase a ticket as the funds raised will go to the building of our new stadium, which is really needed.
