Geraldines club notes

January 20, 2020

Lights Up Ireland in conjunction with Operation Transformation continues with the Gers this Tuesday. Walk with us under the floodlights from 7 – 8 pm and pop in for a hot drink and a chat afterwards. Registration is in the kitchen at 6.50pm. As well as keeping fit, it’s also a great social event for the community.  Everyone is welcome so spread the word, get walking and let’s Light Up The Gers.

Congratulations to Dan Corcoran and DCU on reaching the Sigerson semi final on Wednesday night.

Plans are underway for the new season ahead with some underage groups already training.  If you feel you could volunteer your time or help in any capacity, then please get in touch with any committee member.  Remember it takes lots of hands and heads to run a successful club.

Our Lotto jackpot has not been won for several months and it now stands at a great sum of €13,600.00. Remember you have got to be in it to win. Please support the club.

Louth GAA are running a ‘Pick A House’ fundraising campaign to raise essential funds for the much needed forthcoming Louth GAA Stadium. We are very proud to be supporting their cause. Tickets are €100.00 each with 2 houses to be won, in Blackrock or Drogheda. This tickets could make a great Christmas present; please see any committee member to purchase a ticket or if you need more information.

FlashBack Friday…remember to check our social media every Friday to see what trip down memory lane we take!!! Got any old pictures/match programmes of the club; please pass them on!
