The adult men's teams will play in the Junior Championship, in the Division 2 League, in the Paddy Sheelan Cup and in the Division 5 League in 2020. Well done to William Woods and Hugh Osborne who were part of the Louth Senior panel. The juvenile section of the club catered for age groups from U-7 to U-18. Every Thursday evening throughout the year John Markey Park in Ballygassan was full of young players practising their gaelic football skills. 2019 was quite a progressive year as all players developed their potential further. Off the field significant milestones were reached with the second phase of development of the new training field at John Markey Park as the field became available for use mid way during 2019. Ongoing maintenance work during the year has resolved a few teething problems and the new pitch is now in good shape. Further development is planned for the future.

The "Club Barrs 2018-2020" membership scheme and the pitch side advertising continued. The club's main fundraiser last year was the Lip Sync event which took place at the City North Hotel. It was a very successful fundraiser and was a great nights entertainment for all who attended.

The club are especially grateful to Peter Callan for his continuous care taking of the field and facilities. No job is too big or too small. The club give special thanks to the Fundraising & Development Committees as the club facilities are vastly improved and the club is debt free and in a good financial position.

Thanks must also go all volunteers, Lotto collectors, sponsors, donors and any other benefactors who have helped us throughout the year in these areas. Thanks to Greenblades for cutting the grass on the pitch and to the Tús scheme workers who have helped out during the year.
