AGM: We held our AGM last Friday night 29th November in our clubrooms, before the meeting started a minutes silence was observed for all deceased members of the club. Club secretary Brian Kearney give a comprehensive report and reflected on how close we came to winning the division two league. Treasurer Martin O’Hanrahan presented a very detailed review of the club finances and how far we have come in the last five years on the balance sheet. Chairman Anthony Agnew thanked both Brian and Martin for their reports and for their support during the year and also thanked anybody who helped the club in any way during the year. He also thanked the outgoing manager John O’Connor and his selectors Dessie Callan, Derek Walsh and Leslie Walsh for their commitment during the season. Officers elected on the night were, Chairman: Anthony Agnew, Vice Chairman: David O’Brien, Secretary: Brian Kearney, Treasurer: Martin O’Hanrahan, PRO: Aidan Murtagh, Irish Language & Cultural Officer: Pearse McGeough, Safety Officer: Declan Byrne. Committee: Sean Cairns, Seamus Cairns, Sean Mulligan, Stuart Reynolds.     

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 4th December at 8.00pm, jackpot €1,300 in 48 numbers.  

Final: Best of luck to Mattock Rangers in the Leinster Intermediate Club Championship Final on Saturday, as they take on Mullinavat from Kilkenny in Drogheda @ 1.30pm.

Coaching: Louth GAA Coaching & Games Conference will take place on Saturday 18th January 2020 in Louth GAA Centre of Excellence Darver. Confirmed speakers on the day are Malachy O’Rourke & Ryan Porter-former Monaghan manager and coach, Niall McNamee-Offaly senior footballer and David Drake-Ulster Rugby Senior Athletic Performance Coach. Details on bookings and topics to be confirmed.
