Friday night was launch night in Uncle Tom’s Cabin for our forthcoming Mighty Marquee weekend. Friday 27th Sept will be our Strictly Come Dancing Gers style, and Saturday 28th Sept we will present you with our Ger-Oscars. This promises to be a great weekend and we urge all our community to make an effort to attend. Keep watching our social media platforms for up to date information on how our plans are going. This is our major fundraising weekend so your support is vital!!!! All monies received will go towards our facilities for our juvenile and senior players and to make our club rooms a main focal point for our community to enjoy. Could you or someone you know sponsor any part of the weekend? If so, please contact one of our committee members.

Our Junior Ladies play in the championship final on Sunday 1st Sept, v Ardee St. Marys in Páirc Uí Taibh, Tallanstown. Please support the ladies if you can, with throw in @ 11 am. Good luck all.

Juvenile activity continues with training, games and blitz’s. We urge friends and families of the Gers Community to show their support for our teams where you can. Please check our social media platforms for up to date information on all Club activity as well as reports and photos from last week’s games and blitz’s.

We wish all our juveniles the very best for the new academic year which gets underway for many this coming week.

GERS JERSEY COMPETITION …. Our competition is now over. Thank you to all those who sent us your holiday snaps wearing your Gers Jersey. September winner will be announced soon. Watch this space.

Our Lotto is now €8,400.00; our jackpot has not been won for several months. We are very grateful to all those who support the Club. The monies raised are vital and enable us to maintain and upgrade our club facilities for all the parish to enjoy.
