U16 Match Result

Geraldines 2-16, O’Raghallaighs 3-13

 

Big congratulations to our U16 team who have reached the Division 1 league final after a dramatic win in the semi final over the Geraldines in Haggardstown on Friday night.

The game finished level at the end of normal time and after extra time the teams were still at a stalemate after a dramatic last minute goal from the O Raghallaighs rescued a draw. Under the new rules of “winner on the day” the match was decided by penalties, with the super Raghallaighs coming out on top in an excellent contest.

 

The team return to action next Wednesday night in the championship, with a date for the league final yet to be announced

Fixtures

Our Minor team play Naomh Fionnbarra /Lannleire next Monday away from home. Throw in is at 7.00pm.

 

This Wednesday, our U16 side will play Mattock Rangers / Huntsertown Rovers at home. Throw in is at 7.30pm.

 

Golf Classic

Our annual golf classic is set to take place this Friday, 30th August at Seapoint Golf Links. Entry is €300 per team, including a meal afterward in the golf club. There are a limited number of morning tees times still available, so book your team in as soon as you can. We are also looking for tee / green sponsors for the day, with prices at €100. Other business

Our clubhouse bar is now hosting a weekly bingo night on Tuesday nights, kicking off at 9.30pm. Make sure to come along to what’s sure to be a great night of fun.
