The Geraldines Community were deeply saddened by the passing of our former Chairman, County Board Rep, lifelong member and friend, Gerry Reenan. Gerry served both club and county with a dedication and determination that few could match. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and Gerry’s legacy will live long within our club and community.

With our Senior Mens place already secured in the Cardinal O’Donnell semi-final, the team went to Collon Friday night for their final league game against Mattock Rangers. Final Score Gers: 1.07 – Mattock 1.15.

Our Senior Ladies continued their championship journey and defeated Newtown Blues on Sunday morning in their quarter final, finishing score line of 4.17 – 1.02. Well done to all involved.

Our Juniors got their championship campaign of to a winning start with a good victory over the Clans on Saturday evening.

Juvenile activity continues with training, games and blitz’s. We urge friends and families of the Gers Community to show their support for our teams where you can. Please check our social media platforms for up to date information on all Club activity as well as reports and photos from last week’s games and blitz’s.

The Geraldines Skills Camp starts on Monday 12th and will finish on Wednesday 14th August. We have a fully booked camp which will be overseen by some outstanding coaches and players. They will consist of Niamh Woods (captain of Tyrone All Ireland Winners 2018), Colm Cavanghan, Sean Cavanagh, Niall Morgan and Niall Sludden (all Tyrone), Oisin O’Neill (Armagh), Kevin McKernan (Down), Karol McQuade (Ulster GAA), Ryan Daly (former Head of Tyrone Development squads) and Gavin McGilly (GAA Development Officer in St. Marys University Belfast).

GERS JERSEY COMPETITION …. Over the summer months we are running a monthly competition to see where and with who you will be seen wearing the Green and White. Check our social media platforms for all the ways you can enter our new competition. Monthly O’Neill’s voucher for each successful winner in June, July and August up for grabs. So get snapping. August is the final month of the competition so get your entries in to be in with a chance of winning. Good luck all.
