Our Senior Men came through a tough match v the Joes on Sunday evening which secured a quarter final championship berth against Ardee St. Marys. In a tense affair, the Gers led throughout and won on a score line of 1-12 to 0-13. Well done all.

Our Junior Ladies made it 3 wins from 3 with a good win over Cooley in the championship, final score 3-10 to 3-05. Great result and well done to all involved.

We would like to congratulate and say well done to all our Gers players who represented their County over the weekend. Louth LGFA U16 girls are All Ireland C Champions following their victory against Sligo during the week, what an achievement and very well done to Louth and to our 4 girls who are on the panel. Louth LGFA Ladies will contest the All Ireland Junior semi-final after defeating London Ladies by the narrowest of margins. The club was well represented in the U14, 15 and 16 Louth Development squads who were in action over the past few days. The Club are very proud of your achievements and we are very fortunate to have players who wear both club and county colours.

Juvenile activity continues with training, games and blitz’s. We urge friends and families of the Gers Community to show their support for our teams where you can. GERALDINES GAA SUMMER CAMP – we are pleased to announce the dates of our own Camp taking part in McGeough Park Monday 12 – Wednesday 14 August 10am-1pm. The camp will be overseen by some outstanding coaches and players. The camp is €35.00 per child and is open to 7-17 year old boys and girls. Free gloves for all attendees. Registration night will take place in the clubrooms on Friday 26 July from 6 – 7 pm.

GERS JERSEY COMPETITION …. Over the summer months we will be running a monthly competition to see where and with who you will be seen wearing the Green and White. Check our social media platforms for all the ways you can enter our new competition. Monthly O’Neill’s voucher for each successful winner in June, July and August up for grabs. So get snapping. Thanks to those who have already sent in pictures. July’s winner will be announced later this week.
