Team news: Royals name strong side

Meath's Mikey Mullen, Evan Fitzgerald and Nicky Potterton backbone a strong side

Meath have named a strong side to face Louth in the All-Ireland Under-20 ‘B’ championship at Darver tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm.

Of their starting XV, five were part of the Christy Ring Cup winning squad that lifted the title in Croke Park last Saturday week.

Ratoath’s Cormac Butler and Kildalkey’s Evan Fitzgerald line out at full back and wing back respectively, while goal scorers in the Ring Cup final, Callum O’Sullivan and Nicky Potterton will wear the number 12 and 14 jerseys this evening.

Manager Vinny Guy can also call on Trim’s Brian Dowling in a strong full forward that includes Potterton and Killyon’s exciting talent Mikey Mullen.
