The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Declan Keenan, Farm Road, Annagassan.  Declan was a former player who won a McArdle Cup medal in 1971 and was part of the panel which lost the 1973 Louth Junior Championship.  May he Rest In Peace.

The club would also like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Eugene Shevlin, The Lynns, Annagassan.  Eugene was a founder member of the club in 1957. He won a McArdle Cup in 1960 playing corner forward. No man was happier in 2001 when the Barrs finally won championship silverware winning the Intermediate championship. He remained a live long supporter and will be sadly missed by everyone at the club. May he Rest In Peace.
