Our seniors played and won their opening league fixture on Tuesday night against O’Raghallaighs, final score 2.18-2.6.  They then played their second league match on Sunday against the Newtown Blues, winning 3.13 to 1.13. Well done to Eamonn’s men for a great start to the season.

Geraldines Ladies played Sunday v Dreadnots with a winning score of 2.15-0.2. Well done to all those involved.

Gers minors opened their league account with a win against Glen Emmetts last Monday night.

There was a real winning streak for our juveniles this week with our U12 Boys, U14 Boys and U16 Girls all winning their games.  Well done to all these boys and girls who are dedicated and hardworking.

Our u8 Boys are excited about their forthcoming trip to Croke Park next Sunday to play in a Leinster blitz.

Our School Programme comes to an end this Friday, 12th April.  This has well received with all the 3 primary schools within our parish, and all children have benefited from our dedicated volunteer coaches.  We would like to thank our sponsor Frank Lynch & Co; without their support the programme wouldn’t have been as successful.  We look forward to welcoming all those who participated in this programme into the Gers Community.
