With rain, ice and even snow forecast for parts of the country tomorrow, the GAA will reschedule games for St Patrick's Day or Bank Holiday Monday in the event of them being postponed.

RTE is reporting that the GPA has contacted county panels to prepare them for the possibility of games being refixed for Sunday or Monday. A full round of Allianz Football League games are fixed for tomorrow, as are three Allianz Hurling League quarter-finals and the meaningless Allianz Hurling relegation playoff between Kilkenny and Cork, but snow, ice and rain warnings could put a spanner in the works.

St Patrick's Day has been set aside for the All-Ireland club finals in Croke Park, but they could yet go head-to-head with Allianz League games as the GAA bids to have the leagues completed by the end of the month to leave April a club-only month.
