There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 27th February. The winning numbers were 9, 10, 12 & 13. There was 1 match 3 winner Margaret Byrne, Nicholastown who won €150. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member. Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the runningof the club and your support is greatly appreciated. There is now also an option to participate in the Club Lotto by Standing Order. There are 2 options to enter by (1) pay €15 every 2 months for 1 entry per week or (2) pay €38 every 2 months for 3 entries per week. Please contact any committee member if interested.  

 

Well done to the Finbarrs Intermediate mens team who beat Mattock Rangers on Sunday at John Markey Park, Ballygassan in the Third Round of the Paddy Sheelan Cup on a scoreline of 3-5(14) to 1-8(11).  The lads are now through to the Quarter finals of the Paddy Sheelan Cup as group winners.

 

Well done to the Finbarrs Ladies team who beat Newtown Blues in a challenge game on Friday night in Drogheda.

 

Hard luck to Louth Senior men who lost to Carlow in Round 5 of Division 3 in the NFL.   

 

Thanks to everyone who paid their club membership  at the club registration days recently. For anyone who still wants Membership Fees are as follows: Adult Player (Men/Ladies/Camogie) €75, Non Playing Full Member €50, Social Member €30, Juvenile Member €40 and Family Membership €130 (2 Parents and 2 + Children). Student rates and dual membership rates (ladies football and camogie) also available. All Club Barrs Members are full members of the Club for the Year 2019 and will receive a discount off family membership if they chose this option for their family.  

 

Naomh Fionnbarra walking/running track around the field at John Markey Park is open for use. Floodlights will be turned on at the track on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evening between 8-9pm and members of the public are welcome to use the track. Togher Fit to run Group use the track for training on Monday nights and encourage anyone interested in running training to join in. All users of the track must be members of the club (either Full or Social members) to cover insurance costs. The track will be open for use forboth Full and Social members all year round.
