Dundalk Gaels GAA club and the wider Louth GAA community has been left stunned by the tragic death of 'club member, player and great friend' Conor Morgan.
The DCU student passed away this morning while on holidays in Cyprus and the Dundalk Democrat is reporting that the exact circumstances of his death are as yet unknown.
The 19-year-old helped his club reach last year's Louth SFC final and a minute's silence was observed in his, and Louth ladies manager Michéal McKeown's, memory prior to the Wee County's All-Ireland SFC qualifier win over London in Ruislip today.
Dundalk Gaels regret to announce the death of our club member, player and great friend Conor 'Morgie' Morgan. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family Paul, Blathnaid and Sarah at this incredibly difficult and devastating time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
