There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 4th April. The winning numbers were 13, 17, 18, & 21. There were 2 match 3 winners Olivia Corrigan, The Lynns and Pat McHale who won €75 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. After last weekends National League Final action, and wins for Dublin by 4 points, Roscommon by 4 points, Armagh by 2 points and Laois by 4 points, the winner of this years Naomh Fionnbarra last man standing is, Sarah McCabe from the John Mitchell's club (entry sold by Hugh Mcgrane). Sarah predicted all 4 winning teams correctly and she predicted winning margins of Dublin by 6 points, Roscommon by 4 points, Armagh by 3 points and Laois by 4 points, meaning her score difference was just 3 away from being 100% correct. Sarah will receive €200, congratulations to her. In 2nd place was Liz hullen who also predicted the 4 correct winners. Liz predicted winning margins of Dublin by 4 points, Roscommon by 2 points, Armagh by 2 points and Laois by 2 points, meaning her scored difference was 4. Liz will receive €100. Hard luck to the other finalists, particularly Eoghan Osborne, David Woods, Bryan Sharkey, Kieran Sharkey, Karen Bradley, Vera Butterly, Patsy Matthews, Tom Connor and Dominic Callaghan who all correctly predicted the 4 winning finalists but lost out on score difference. Féile Peile na nÓg 2018Very exciting year ahead for our U14/U13 team!! The John West Féile Peile na nÓg 2018 tournament is being hosted by Down, Louth & Meath on the weekend of Friday 29th June - Sunday 1st July 2018 and our Club along with Lannleire will be hosting teams and games in our Parish watch out for further details soon.
Just to let you all know that the exercise track at Naomh Fionnbarra's grounds John Markey Park Ballygassan is open for use, so feel free to come along and do your walking in safe surroundings. There is a social membership fee of €25 to cover the cost of insurance, which can be paid to any committee member. You will then be issued with a membership card, all those who are contributing to Club Barrs or already have membership paid are covered. We welcome everyone to come along and enjoy the facilities.
