1. Stephen Cluxton (Dublin)

The Dublin captain denied the impressive Lee Brennan a goal with a fine save in the second-half of the Healy Park encounter.

2. Jamie O'Sullivan (Cork)

The defender received his marching orders on the stroke of full-time following an altercation with Down's Connaire Harrison but he was one of the Rebel County's stand-out performers.

3. Conor McGill (Meath)

The Meath full-back makes the cut for the second week running as he proved to be the rock on which many a Clare attack perished in Pairc Tailteann.

4. Cian McManus (Fermanagh)

McManus and his Fermanagh defensive colleagues restricted Offaly to 1-4 from play in Brewster Park.

5. Michael Quinn (Longford)

Quinn's 40^th minute goal was the highlight of the Midlanders' 1-13 to 1-6 victory over Derry on home soil.

6. Robbie Kiely (Tipperary)

Defeat to Roscommon was a bitter pill for Kiely and his Premier County team-mates to swallow but they can bounce back against Munster neighbours Clare next Sunday.

7. Karl O'Connell (Monaghan)

O'Connell's runs from deep caused all sorts of problems for Kildare in Newbridge.

8. Brian Fenton (Dublin)

A model of consistency, the Raheny clubman got through another industrious shift in the Sky Blues' engine room.

9. Bryan Magee (Cavan)

After kicking a late equalising free against Clare in round 1, Breffni County newcomer Magee followed that up with 1-3 against Louth.

10. Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin)

Dublin's playmaker continuously punched holes in Tyrone's defensive cover and finished with 1-2 to his name.

11. Shane Walsh (Galway)

Along with captain Damien Comer, Walsh posed plenty of problems for the Donegal rearguard and sent over six points in Letterkenny.

12. Liam Gavaghan (London)

London's captain led by example when scoring 1-7 (0-4 frees) in their nine point victory over visitors Wicklow in Ruislip.

13. Diarmuid Murtagh (Roscommon)

Inspired by a return of 1-4 from their talented forward, the Rossies launched a late revival in Semple Stadium to come away with the Division 2 spoils.

14. Paul Geaney (Kerry)

13-man Kerry came away from Castlebar with a second win from as many outings and their All-Star full-forward caught the eye with three points from play.

15. Ethan Rafferty (Armagh)

A towering presence on the edge of the square, Rafferty pilfered six points against Westmeath in Mullingar.
