The Late Rose Lennon
The death occured of Rose Lennon, Gurteenboy following a short illness at Tullamore General Hospital.
Rose was very well known in the area with her involvment with Gratthan's GAA Club and she had a particular interest in Scor.
Rose was a nurse at St Peters Hospital for a good many years and her colleagues from St Peters and members of the Grattan Club paid a fitting tribute to her with a guard of honour at her removal and funeral.
To her husband Brendan, sons Cathal and Declan and daughter Sandra, relatives and friends we extend our deepest sympathy. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
