Commiserations to the Longford senior and minor teams on their loses in the Leinster championship at the weekend. Please God we can get a run going in the qualifiers.

 

Our reserve junior team were in action on Saturday evening last away to Abbeylara. After a very entertaining game played in glorious conditions, we came away with a draw on a score of 15 points each. This leaves us topping the group and through to the semi final of this competition. Well done lads. 

 

This coming weekend we welcome Granard to Emmet Park in the senior league. Throw in is at 7pm.

 

Our lotto draw took place in the Olde Forge on Sunday night for a jackpot of €7,500. The numbers drawn were 8, 19, 25 and 35. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Bridie Browne, Traenlawn, Meave Brady, Boher, Sean O Hara, C/O Ann Toher, Mark Reynolds, Doyles and Stephen Lynch, Ballinalee with Ann Murray taking the sellers prize. Thanks again to all who support our lotto.

 

Congratulations to Sharon McNerny, Corneddan and Sean Quinn who were recently married. We wish you many happy years together.
