It was provincial final day in both Munster and Connacht this afternoon.

First up we had the meeting of Galway and Roscommon in the Connacht SFC in Pearse Stadium at 2pm and what an intriguing contest this was.

That was followed by the eagerly awaited Munster SHC final between Tipperary and Waterford as the latter looked for revenge for last year's defeat at the same stage. The sides met at the Gaelic Grounds at 4pm.

Also down for decision this afternoon was the All-Ireland SFC qualifier round 2A clash between Clare and Laois at Cusack Park (2pm)

Owenbeg hosted the Ulster SHC final between Antrim and Armagh and this throws in at 3.30pm.

The scene is set for an interesting afternoon so to follow all the action as it happened click here.
