The past week saw loyal anddedicated club member Michael McShane pass to his eternal reward. Michael enjoyed a long life, one that was associated with the Dromard club right up to the end. Michael was an energetic player who lined out on our teams for many years. No matter if it was an underage or a senior club game staged in either JJ Donohoe Park or Pairc na Gael Michael's tractor would be sure to arrive to lend his support. He would also be a regular attender at training sessions for the various teams in our club. He had a great understanding of the game and his analysis of games and players always made for interesting conversation.Michael drew great satisfaction from the day to dayaffairs at our pitches where his presence will be sadly missed.
