Moyne Community School Moyne CS Senior team took part in the Cavan Institute Post Primary 7's competition on the 3G pitch at Kingspan Breiffni Park Thursday last. Moyne CS Boys scored wins against St Aidan's Cootehill & St Bricin's College Belturbet, drawing with Breffni College, Cavan. Unfortunately we lost keeper Ollie Duffy to injury in our last group game, we wish him a very speedy recovery.  Moyne Boys got the better of Virginia College in their Semi Final to set up a final clash against St Patrick's College, Cavan.  Moyne put in a cohesive performance in all their games, with accurate finishing from Fionn Hourican (Golder Boot Runner up), freetaking from Diarmuid Boylan and good defensive play from Darren O'Neill and Kenneth Sexton who had good performances at both ends of the pitch. Unfortunately, they lost the final by a narrow margin.

County U20: Hard luck to the Longford U20 team on their defeat in the U20 Final last weekend, especially Joe Hagan, Conor McGauran, Ollie Duffy and Aaron Farrell. Also, to Danny O’Toole in the backroom team. Best of luck to the team and management in the U20 Leinster Championship next month.
