St Francis Dromard club notes

Moyne Community School Hard luck to Moyne Community School Senior team who exited the Leinster Football Championship Semi-Final on Tuesday 14th of January. A great effort was put in this year by the team and management. It is excellent to see Moyne CS senior team performing at this level, with a large number of Dromard players.

County U20: Well cone to all involved with the with Longford U20 team, especially Joe Hagan, Conor McGauran, Ollie Duffy and Aaron Farrell. Also, to Danny O’Toole in the backroom team. Best of luck to the team and management in the U20 Final next weekend. See fixtures for details.

First Aid and CPR/AED training: A course will take place on Saturday 1st of February in the clubhouse from 9.30 to 16:00. This training is for all coaches and team management. Please contact Susan Murphy or any member of the Minor Club committee to book you place on this important training.

Culture Evening: Plans are been put in place to have a cultural evening in the clubhouse on Saturday, February 1st from 7.45 to 9.30. Anyone interested in Music, Storytelling etc.. who would be willing to perform on the night, please contact Oisin Hourican (Cultural Officer).

St. Francis Minor Club:  AGM will take place in a few weeks’ time. Anyone interested in getting involved with the club in any area: Coaching, Administration, Culture, Music, fundraising or just helping at an event, please contact Thomas O’Neill, John Duffy or Paul Hourican.

Dromard Senior Club:  Best wishes to Gerry Sheridan who has taken on the role as Chairperson of Dromard Senior Club for 2020. It is good to see a number of new people taking on roles in our senior club. Thanks to Micheal O’Reilly for all his hard work and support over the past four years as Chairperson. Thankfully Micheal is still involved in both the Senior club and coaching underage.
