Monthly Members Draw: Congratulations to the winners of our monthly members draw for

NYC, Kevin Hourican, Fostra and Sean and Claire Donnelly, Legga. Thank you to all our
members for your continued support.
Senior Championship Quarter Final: Best of luck to our senior football panel and
management against Killoe in the championship quarter final on Saturday evening (24
August). Throw in at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park is at 6.30pm. The players and
management have worked extremely hard all year and we ask all our supporters to come out
and get behind them for this big match.
Junior Championship: Dromard 0-7 Legan 1-11. Hard luck to our junior panel who were
defeated by Legan Sarsfields in the championship on Wednesday. In a game played in
difficult wet and blustery conditions, Dromard once again battled hard throughout and
provided stiff opposition to a strong Legan side. Dromard trailed by 8 points to 3 at half time
with the ever-dangerous Peter Mimnagh on the mark for Dromard in the opening half.
Dromard played their best football in the opening minutes of the second half and narrowed
the margin to just three points but a Legan goal put them in the ascendency once again. Credit
to Dromard, they continued to work hard until the finish and created several scoring chances
in what was a good battling performance overall. Team: Sean McNerney; Ciaran Duffy,

Junior Championship: Our junior panel is back in action this Wednesday evening (21
August) when they take on Killoe in Emmet Park. All support welcome.
New Arrival: Congratulations to our senior manager Niall Sheridan and his wife Elaine on
the birth of their new baby boy on Monday.
Wedding Bells: Congratulations to former Dromard player Jude McEntire and Oonagh
Hearty, Aughnacliffe, who celebrated their wedding recently in Dublin. We wish Oonagh and
Jude health and happiness for the future.
