Senior Championship:

We played Abbeylara in the Senior Chamionship group stages final round in Clonee on Friday night last. The final score was Killoe 1-12 Abbeylara 0-11. Killoe had the better of the early stages of the first half and after 15 minutes led by 3 points Killoe 1-2 Abbeylara 0-2. The half ended with Killoe adding a further 5 points to Abbeylara's 3 points. Half-Time score Killoe 1-7 Abbeylara 0-5. Abbeylara had the better start to the second half and cut the defecit to 3 points Killoe 1-9 Abbeylara 0-9. Killoe ended the game scoring a further 3 points to Abbeylara's 2 points.

Senior Championship Quarter-Final:

Next Saturday evening our Senior team play Dromard in the Championship in Pearse Park at 6.30pm. Best of luck to the team and management and we hope that the whole parish will come out and support them.

Junior Championship:

Our Junior Championship team have one group game remaining and if they win they will qualify for the semi-final. Please check fixtures for date and time of game.

Futsal All-Ireland Winners:

Congratulations to all involved with the Killoe Community Games Futsal U-15 team who won gold in Limerick at the weekend.

Lotto:

Our lotto draw took place in Begleys on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 3,7,26,35. The €20 winners were Sean & Melissa Whelan Killoe, John Reilly Bawn, Chris Cullen Soran, Andrew McGrath Kilglass and Farrelly Bros Soran. The sellers prize went to Yvonne O'Toole. Next weeks draw takes place in The Oldge Forge and the jackpot will be €7,700. Thank you for your continued support for our lotto. Race Night:

Congratulations to all the prize winners at our race night held in The olde Forge on Saturday night. 1st prize went to Shauna Caherly, 2nd went to Cillian Burns and 3rd prize went to John Dowd. Thanks to everyone who bought and sold tickets to help make the fundraiser such a success.

Marie Brady:

Best of luck to our Cultual Officer Marie Brady as she prepares for her trip to the Rose Of Tralee

Festival next week. We hope she enjoys her experience and we know she will be a great ambassador for Killoe and Longford. We hope that the whole county will get behind her.
