COUNTY MATTERS

Good Luck to our County U14 Panel, including Kate McEntire and Louise Tierney on Sat as they take on Monaghan in Lisnaskea in the All Ireland Series Semi-Final. Whatever the outcome, it has been a great achievement to come so far.So well done to management and players alike.

COUNTY DEVELOPMENT U13 SQUAD

This is a great opportunity for all girls born 2006/7/8,whatever their ability,to receive top notch training from County managements and players.Held on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8pm in Kenagh, just turn up and register at 6 45 and you will be well looked after. We encourage all Dromard girls to attend, and we have seen the improvement it has made to girl's and therefore the Dromard Panels in
past years, even leading to places on the County Panels.

RESULTS

The only Panel out this week past were our u14's who had 2 matches to complete the round robin stage of their A Championship. Due to holidays and injuries we were only able to field the bare minimum in both games. Without the luxury of subs to call on it proved an immense effort
for a dozen girls playing 30 mins half on a full size pitch. Both matches, at home to Longford Slashers on Weds and away to St. Brigids on Sun ended in defeat, but we must commend these girls, especially the U12's who plugged the gaps on their never say die attitude against the odds to
the very end in both games. In fairness both Slashers and Ardagh have very good teams, so on the plus side we will avoid them both in the quarter finals. On the downside, however we will face whoever tops Group2,but they will know that a Dromard team will always give it their
best shot and we look forward to the game.

There should have been one more match this week on Sat midday when St.Brigids were to have been the visitors in the first round of the new U10 Summer Fun League. Unfortunately they were unable to field on the day, but hopefully they will have a panel next Sat, when we have offered
them the chance to reschedule. Players will be informed nearer the day, but if there is still no match, don't forget to attend weekly underage training at 10 00am on the astro. If you are really keen you can do both !!!

BIRTHDAYS

A busy week on the celebration front. On Thursday Kate O'Connor will be 14,on Saturday Aoife Corrigan will be 8 (no excuse to miss training Aoife)and lastly on Monday Cathy Conefrey will be 16.Dromard Ladies wish you all a Happy Birthday and hope you enjoy your day.
