Sympathy: Dromard GAA offers its sympathy to the Martin family on the death of Seamus Martin, Corrick, Moyne. The Club sends its condolences to the McGee family, Drumlish, on the passing of Danny McGee in New York. The Club offers its sympathy to Danny’s relatives in Dromard, Eilish, Oswald and Dermot Reilly and the extended Reilly and McGee families. AGM: A reminder that the AGM of Dromard GAA Club will take place on Sunday next 2nd December at 4pm in the Clubhouse. Nomination forms for club officer positions will be available in Corrigans and Moyne Stores. Completed forms can be handed in at the Clubhouse.

Leinster Championship: Congratulations to Mullinalaghta St Columbas on their tremendous victory over Éire Óg of Carlow in the semi-final of the Leinster club championship on Sunday. The win saw Mullinalaghta earn a historic Leinster final appearance against Dublin giants Kilmacud Crokes in two weeks time.

Ulster Intermediate Club Final: Best of luck to Mullahoran in the Ulster Intermediate football championship final this weekend. Mullahoran take on Naomh Éanna of Antrim in the decider at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh on Saturday (1st December). Throw in is at 6pm.

Dromard Healthy Clubs: The Sunday morning walking club is now starting at 8.45 from Dromard GAA clubhouse. Everyone is welcome. Enjoy a nice one-hour stroll through the scenic lanes, hills and by the lakes of Dromard.

 

Dromard Ladies Club Notes

Presentation Night: The date for our Medal Presentation Night is fast approaching and will take place this Friday the 30th of November at 8pm in the Clubhouse. Medals will be awarded to the u14, u16 and Senior Ladies but we also cordially invite our u10 and u12 girls who participated last year and  anyone else who wishes to attend. We would also like to invite any girls from 5 years old upwards who have an interest in joining the club next year! There will be a free raffle with wonderful prizes and refreshments served on the night.

Fuel Draw: The brilliant Dromard Ladies Fuel Draw is back again. This year we have received over 1200 euro worth in prizes to give away. A huge thank you to all our very generous sponsors who are making this year's fuel draw possible! Tickets can be purchased in the next few days in all local stores or directly from Dromard Ladies Members. This Draw will take place on the 20th of January.

County Minors: County Minor training commenced in Moydow and will continue tonight Wednesday the 28th at 8pm and Sat 1st at 4pm. Any girls interested in playing for their County should text CAROL on 0872757051 for full details.

County u16: County u16 training started last Saturday. The next training session will take place on Saturday the 8th in Moydow at 11am. Any girls aged between 14 and 16 years interested in playing for their County text PAUL on 0868794928 for full details.

Birthdays: We would like to wish 3 Happy Birthdays to Chloe Connell and our twins Donna and Michelle Masterson who unfortunately missed out in playing with our Senior Ladies this Season due to other commitments. Chloe will celebrate her birthday tomorrow and Michelle and Donna will celebrate theirs on Saturday December 1st. These girls were sorely missed on our Senior Panel but we are hopeful that they will be back out in Blue and Gold very soon.
