1. Mark Jackson (Wicklow)
There was no disputing who the star of the Garden County's extra-time win over Offaly was - the Baltinglass goalie top scored for his team with 0-7 and also saved a penalty!
2. Eoghan Ban Gallagher (Donegal)
Donegal issued a statement of intent with an impressive 2-20 to 1-15 Ulster SFC preliminary round victory over Cavan.
3. Sean Andy O Ceallaigh (Galway)
It wasn't a game for the purists in Castlebar but that won't bother O Ceallaigh and his Galway team-mates who now switch their focus to a semi-final date with Sligo.
4. Keith Higgins (Mayo)
The four-time All-Star kept plugging away but a third defeat in-a-row at the hands of their arch rivals was Mayo's lot.
5. Stephen Attride (Laois)
The O'Moore County captain raised two white flags as they produced a Lazarus-like comeback against Wexford
6. Paul Brennan (Donegal)
The former Leitrim footballer enjoyed a fine outing in the heart of the Tir Chonaill side's defence.
7. Diarmuid Walshe (Carlow)
Walshe found the target with 1-2 as the Barrowsiders continued on their upward curve at Louth's expense.
8. Michael Murphy (Donegal)
The 2012 All-Ireland winning captain produced a five star performance in Ballybofey.
9. Ciaran Duggan (Galway)
Making his championship debut, the Annaghdown youngster's overall performance was central to the Tribesmen's hard-earned victory and he kicked two points for good measure.
10. John Tubritt (Wexford)
Tubritt - who scored four points - and his Model County team-mates suffered a heart-breaking defeat against Laois.
11. Donie Kingston (Laois)
The physically imposing Kingston led the O'Moore County's fightback and he top scored with 1-6 for John Sugrue's side.
12. Gearoid McKiernan (Cavan)
The Breffni County's talisman took the fight to Donegal and sent over 0-7 (five from play) but his efforts didn't get the rewards they deserved.
13. Paul Broderick (Carlow)
Broderick continued his rich vein of scoring form with 1-8 (1-3 from play) against the Wee County.
14. Damien Comer (Galway)
The Galway captain scored two points early on to help his team settle but his influence waned as the game progressed.
15. Donal Lenihan (Meath)
Meath got their hands on the O'Byrne Cup and Lenihan - who finished with 2-8 to his name - was a constant thorn in the side of the Westmeath defence.
