Well-known GAA administrator Albert Fallon was inducted into the Longford GAA Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

The former Leinster Council chairman and GAA presidential candidate was honoured at the Longford Leader / Longford GAA All Stars Gala Awards Night in the Longford Arms Hotel.

Mullinalaghta's Donal McElligott received the Senior Football Player of the Year award, while John Mulhern of Wolfe Tones was the Senior Hurler of the Year recipient.

Intermediate Football Player of the Year: Shane Donohue (Rathcline)

Intermediate 'B' (Junior) Football Player of the Year: Cathal McCabe (Colmcille)

Ladies Player of the Year: Mairead Moore (Clonguish)

Senior Hurler of the Year: John Mulhern (Wolfe Tones)

Hall of Fame Inductee: Albert Fallon (Ballymahon)
