With the inter county season less than two weeks away, we practically have games coming all year round now, which will suit many GAA fanatics.
Despite it being December 17th, there is a general good feeling about this game.
If they can do that then they could well become the second ever Westmeath club to win a senior provincial title.
Nonetheless, they need the likes of Shane Dempsey and Ken Casey to really step up to the plate today and take the scoring pressure off John Heslin.
This is something that they have become very adapt at in recent times and we expect that they will win their fair share of possession.
Moorefield certainly have the advantage here, and Loman's will be relying on winning the breaking ball.
The difference may come in the middle third though and whichever side can gain more possession in this area.
Both sides have potential match winners and there has been a lot of talk about both of their full forward lines.
Still though, we have two teams that play entertaining football and we are confident that the standard on display will be good.
However, there are no such worries today, although the weather is far from ideal for football.
A blanket of snow on O'Moore Park caused major disappointment for players, management and supporters last weekend.
