10-time All-Ireland winning Cork manager Eamonn Ryan has joined the Limerick ladies backroom team for the 2020 season.

New manager Donal Ryan was ratified at a County Board meeting last night and he has brought his namesake on board to provide assistance.

Eamonn Ryan brings with him a wealth of experience having guided the Rebelettes to a remarkable 10 All-Ireland titles during his 11 years at the helm.

He vacated the role in 2015 and was later involved with the Cork men’s football team.

Limerick’s ladies footballers will be hoping he can help them bounce back from a disappointing season which saw them relegated to the junior grade for 2020.
