LOTTO

 

Our weekly lotto continues to climb and the following numbers were drawn last Monday.

1, 6, 18, 28. No jackpot winner but 3 lucky dip winners were Ollie Shinnors,  PJ Donnelly and Martin Ahern.

Sellers prize was won by Liam Flynn and Doreen Ryan won the house draw.

Next week's jackpot will be €7200

Our weekly bingo is also going from strength to strength with the snowball now at €1200

SENIOR HURLERS

 

Our Senior Hurlers had their first outing in the Bon Secour Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship on Sunday when they travelled to Mungret to take on South Liberties.

Two goals in each half from Kevin Downes and David Dempsey in the first half and Conor Boylan and Peter Casey in the second half saw us open the defence of our title in a comprehensive fashion 

A good start to the campaign and one which saw a return to action for the captain Will O Donoghue. We welcome him back and also a first senior start for young Pauric Heaney who had a fine outing.

Next up are Patrickswell on Sunday in Kilmallock in Round 2.

50TH ANNIVERSARY BOOK LAUNCH

 

The club are please to announce the launch of its 50th anniversary book launch on Easter Saturday evening at 7.30pm sharp.

Special guests include the GAA President John Horan.

All past and present members mentors parents and players are most welcome to attend the event.

Music will follow proceedings and finger food will also be provided.

 

UNDER 14HURLERS 

 

Our under 14 Hurlers were in Feile Na nGael action over the weekend with 3 games down for decision.

We received a walk over from Kilmallock so we played Granagh Ballingarry first up and following a good team performance we ran out comfortable winners 4-8 to1-3.

Goals from Ger O Tiarnagh(2), Bradley Moran and Brian Kelly .

Our second game was a closer affair against Monaleen.

Injuries and back luck worked against us but we still managed to perform well

All 22 of our players saw action over the course of the day which Is a big positive going into next weekend's semi final.

Final Score Monaleen 1-8 Na Piarsaigh 0-5

 

MINOR FOOTBALLERS 

 

Our minor footballers had a very good victory over Rathkeale in the championship. 

A good team performance and a final scoreline of 3-15 to 1-4
