The death occurred on March 30th at Mallow General Hospital of Kevin Nolan (Ex US Army) - Georges St. Mitchelstown. The late Kevin was well known in the local and surrounding areas. He was a native of nearby Ballindangan. He was a noted handballer in his youth. The late Kevin had been in ill health for a number of years. There was a large and represented attendance at the removal from O'Brien's Funeral Home to the local Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery. To his wife Mary (nee Quirke) daughters Laura, grandchild Leo, brothers Tom, Terry, Donal and Jim.
