The Late Ted Cotter
Bruree and Castletown/Ballyagran mourned the passing of Ted Cotter. Ted played hurling with Bruree, winning south junior hurling medals in 1963 and 1966. He added a county medal to his collection in the company of such noted hurlers as Jim O'Brien, Pat O'Brien, Seamie Sexton, Mick Potter, Liam Hogan,and Mossie Riordan. He played senior hurling with Maigue Rovers a combination of clubs. His coffin was draped in Bruree and Castletown/Ballyagran colours and he now rests in peace in Colmanswell cemetery.
