The late Paddy Mullane
The death has taken place of Paddy Mullane in Chicago. Paddy, who was 82, was a native of Glenmore. He had been in poor health for about eight years.
Before going to the USA Paddy worked at Leonards in Newcastle West with his brothers Jack and the late Bill. He was a keen GAA man throughout his life. He played with Monagea and continued to promote the game in Chicago. He once brought a team from Chicago to West Limerick and was responsible for many locals going to Chicago for the summer and to play hurling there.
He is survived by his wife Joanne, son and two daughters in the USA, brother Jack in Cork, sisters Mary Ita Forde and Esther Foley in the USA and his nephews, nieces and other relatives. May he rest in peace.
