The Late Kevin O'Donoghue Parishioners and friends of the O'Donoghue family, Doorlas, Kilmore joined in mourning the passing of Kevin O'Donoghue, Granagh. Mr O'Donoghue's remains were brought to St. Joseph's church where a guard of honour was formed by the Granagh.Ballingarry GAA Club. The burial was too Kevin's native parish of Mungret after concelebrated requiem Mass in Granagh where the clergy included Rev Fr O'Leary included Rev Fr O'Leary CC, Rev Fr Noonan PP and Rev Fr Walsh CC. The late Kevin was an All-Ireland senior hurling medalist in the course of his playing days in the 1940's to the 1960's. He had a life-long association with a Gaelic Games. As a player, Kevin gave sterling service to both his native parish club Mungret, and when called in for county representation he was also to the fore, as an official of the Granagh/Ballingarry GAA club he gave decades of loyal and dedicated service showing a keen interest in every member's ambitions.
