The Late Edmond Crawford The death occurred at the Regional Hospital Waterford, of Edmond Crawford, Air Hill, Clonmel and formerly of Glenlarly, Garryspillane, Co. Limerick. The deceased was a well known and respected member of the community in his adopted county of Tipperary and his native county of Limerick. In his early life he was a member with his late brother J.J. and Bob of the team who brought county junior championships in hurling to their native parish of Glenbrohane and Knocklong. The then Garryspillane team contested the county final with Feenagh-Kilmeedy which was played at Bruff on November 13, 1960. The game was a thriller from start to finish and the three brothers played their part to bring the title to their native parish. J.J. parted this life some years ago and he is now joined by his brother Ned. He is mourned by his wife Noreen, son Gerard, daughter Bernadette, daughter-in-law Amanda, other relatives and friends. The late Ned was considered to be a top class exponent of the hurling game and many of his former team mates attended his funeral over both days at the funeral.
