U-21 Hurling
The U-21 Hurlers lost out in the City /East Final to Mungret.
On a perfect day for hurling in Rhebogue Southside Gaels had the better of the first half but a late goal had them trailing 1 6 to 7 at the break. This lead they could never pull back and Mungret went on to win on a scoreline of 2 13 to 14 points.
U-14 Feile Football
Our under 14 Footballers were extremely unlucky when going down to Galbally in their Feile quarter final.
After the long journey to Galbally the lads gave everything to come home with the victory, leading 1 3 to 3 points at half time with the goal coming from Captain Gary o Halloran with Josh Quinlivan(2) and Shane Cross raising a white flag.The second half was a closely fought contest with a goal from Conor Keane and a Bradley Moran point , St Patricks were just edged out 11 points to 2 4 despite a proud display.
U-14 Hurling
Southside Gaels will travel to play Hospital in their Feile quarter final next Sunday 2 April at 11.30. This is a very young team and all support will be needed for the lads.
Senior Football
The Senior Football team started 2017 with a win against Fr Caseys in the county league on Monday night last in Rhebogue. In conditions that were far from ideal for free flowing football , St Patricks edged the game 1 8 to 6 points to get their league campaign off to a good start.
Girls Minor Football
Groody Gaels minor Footballers had a fine 4 9 to 3 1 win over Ahane in the league on Sunday. Well done to all.
U-16 Football
St Patricks U16 Football will have their first outing in the championship when they welcome Mungret, Monday 27 March at 6pm
U-12 Hurling
The City Hurling Development League came to an end after a hugely successful six week period under lights in Rhebogue.
In the final blitz of the league,St Patricks played out two closely fought battles with Monaleen and Patrickswell and have showed continued improvement with each passing week, against teams from all across the city divison.
Club Limerick Draw
Barry Toomey was added to the long list of St Patricks Gaa winners in the Club Limerick Draw when winning 100 euro in the March draw.
