Confirmed Management Appointments
Last week we were pleased to announce that Moss McCarthy, Barry O'Riordan and Joe Roe were making up the management team for our senior footballers in 2017.
Along with that, we are pleased to announce that Dean Maune and Eoin O'Donnell will take charge of the U21 footballers while Cillian Phair and Dean Maune will be hoping to have another successful year with the Minor footballers in 2017.
Switching code to hurling, Willie Coffee will lead the U21 Hurlers while Tom Keating and James O'Connor will look after the Minor Hurlers. The management team for the junior hurlers has yet to be announced.
Best of luck to all the managers with their respective teams.
Senior Citizen Day Out
Limerick GAA (Health &Well Being Committee) are organizing a trip to Croke Park on the 15th February 2017 for Senior citizens. It is not necessary to be involved in the GAA at present to qualify. The trip will cost €20 per person which includes transport to Croke Park, Tour of Croke Park and Museum, Dinner in Croke Park and Tea break on the way to Croke Park. All inquiries can be made to Gerry on 085 1901900.
Club Membership 2017
Club membership for the 2017 season is now due. Rates for the upcoming season are as follows: Adult €50, Under-18 €20, and a family rate of €70. The rate for non-playing adult members will remain at €30. This represents good value in comparison to membership costs in other clubs across the county. All players must pay their membership prior to taking part in any games or training. This will be strictly enforced this year so make sure you contact Philip O'Donnell, who is the club registrar again for 2017, before training commences. We are taking this matter very serious this year and you simply won't play if you haven't paid, players are also going to ensure that their fellow players have paid so no excuses.
