The Late Jimmy Commons Knockane has lost a member of one of its most respected families with the untimely passing of Jimmy Commons. A former member of Knockane GAA Club, Jimmy went on to become an equally well esteemed member of both Murroe Boher GAA Club and the East Bord na nOg. Jimmy possessed a deep faith and had a positive attitude to life which allowed him to see the funny side of most situations. His open, encouraging and positive attitude and never say die spirit was an inspiration to all who came in contact with him, both young and old. He was deeply committed to his family and was always very proud of their achievements. May the grieving family find strength and consolation in the love and admiration that Jimmy Commons inspired in all.
