There's a lot of people wondering why pitches aren't open on Monday. Please read the document fully on the GAA website and you'll see why. Clubs can't be expected to have safety procedures ready by Monday.

On the return to play, the people I’m truly happy for are all the GAA coaches out there who can once again charge clubs a fortune for their inferior services. Lots of home improvements over the lockdown to be paid for.

Maybe it is time to cancel 2020
So GAA the return to play solution is counties to play k/out C’ship(1 game for 98% of its members)-then move on to inter county.Hope counties can offer more than that to Club players.Need for income aside and pandemic or not I would expect better treatment /respect to Clubs #gaa

Huge amount of ppl screaming for GAA clubs to open pitches over the past few weeks & indeed even unhappy now that it's still 3 weeks away. I presume they'll all be volunteering their services as Covid Supervisors as major volume of additional work now associated with training

Sorry but for me the idea of having the Championship in October/November is absolute nonsense and nothing more than an effort by the GAA to get a few quid into the coffers. Having playable pitches will be an issue & nobody wants early games in an empty Croke Park either!

There's a huge opportunity to reward GAA clubs for positive role they continue to play in community during this crisis. By playing a club championship only this year every single playing member would get a large no of meaningful championship games rather than possibly 1#tokenism
