St Patricks club notes

October 14, 2019

St Patrick's  Street League:

A memorable day for all who played in our annual football street league on Sunday in Rhebogue. We had over 40 kids playing on four teams( all very closely  and keenly contested games) Well done not  only to the  Eamonn Doyle  captained  Kerry team who took home the Brendan Crosse memorial  cup defeating Mayo, but to all who played in the blitz. We had a Cup final and a Shield final and all who took part  were medal winners  as enjoyment was the name of the game.

Many thanks to all the parents who brought a variety of refreshments for all to enjoy and a special mention to Pat Halpin who kindly sponsored  minerals and snacks and to Mark Waters for  the expertly  made Sandwiches.

There is great talent and super spirit within the club and it is clear to see all will have a very bright future.

Hurling Street League:

See you all Sunday week the 27th October for the  hurling street league with another very special day planned.

Delta Hurling Returns:

Under 6-10 hurling returns to Delta this Friday night 18 October.  Keep an eye out on the club page and each club coach will notify  their teams. Every year our young hurlers go indoors for the winter and it is always of huge benefit in
their development. A great time also for  new  members to join.
