UNDER 10 HURLERS

NAP under10 hurlers participated in the Barry Quinn Memorial Tournament in Sixmilebridge on Sat June 15th. Other teams involved were: Clonmel x 2, SMB x 2, Ballina x 2 & O’Callaghan Mills x 2.

Nap played 3 games and won 2 and drew 1. Nap qualified for the final and played a strong Clonmel side. Matches were 11 a side and two 12 minute halves.

It was a very competitive match and Clonmel won out in the end by 5 points.

The coaches could not have asked for more from their team who were very disappointed at the final whistle. They wore the colours of their club with pride and distinction.

Our thanks to the Sixmilebridge club for their excellent organisation and hospitality on the day. It was a super days hurling.
