Caherline club notes
February 18, 2019GAA LOTTO: No winner, numbers drawn were 3, 12, 13, 25. Lucky dip winners were Pat Coffey, J, T, M, A & G, Esther Ryan, Ger Coffey and Noreen Casey. Next weeks jackpot will be €4,000 and the draw will be held on Friday night in The Tower Bar.
U-21 HURLING: Our U-21's got their 2019 Championship off to a perfect start on Saturday last, with a great performance away to Croom. Despite playing into the breeze in the first half, Caherline were the better team by far and took a strong lead in at half time, 2-11 to 0-07, the goals coming from Jake Carroll & James Halvey in the 12th & 18th minute respectively. Caherline dominated play for the first 15 mins of the second half, scoring 4 points & keeping Croom scoreless. Indeed it took Croom 20 mins to register their first score of the half, but 4 mins later, James Halvey pounced for his 2nd goal to put the game well beyond our opposition. Final score on the day, Caherline 2-11, Croom 0-09. Our next opponents are South Liberties, game to be played on Sunday Feb 24th @ 12pm in South Liberties.

MEMBERSHIP: Reminder that membership fees should be paid as soon as possible and can be given to any committee member. The fees for 2019 are as follows - Adult Player = €40, Adult Non Player = €30, U21 = €30, All U18s = €20 (Max €50 per family).
AWARD 1 COURSE: Limerick GAA Coaching and Games Development will be running 2 Award 1 Youth courses over the next few weeks - the first of these courses will comprise of 5 sessions to take place on the following Dates & Times: Tues March 19th 8:00pm - 10:00pm, Sat March 23rd 9:30am - 1:00pm, Mon March 25th 7:00pm - 10:00pm, Sat March 30th 9:30am - 1:00pm, Mon April 1st 7:00pm - 10:00pm, all being held at Bruff Gaa field.
