Health & Wellbeing:

Launch of our ‘Smoke Free club’

We were delighted to announce the launch of our ‘Smoke Free Club’ on Sunday December 9th. There was lots of foods to taste and recipes to take away on healthy snacks & delicious lunch box ideas. There were information stands with plenty leaflets about smoking and information on how to access the National QUIT line.

The event was officially launched by Minister Patrick O Donovan & Cllr.  Michael Collins.  Special Guests included All Ireland Junior Limerick Ladies Football Star Mairead Kavanagh & Phelim Macken from Limerick Sports Partnership. To each of our speakers we extend a huge thanks.

To close the event there was a Novelty Hurling match with the Mom’s versus Dad’s….This was a big highlight for the close of the event and here we would like to thank all those who took part and made this event a memorable one!!

Finally we would like to extend huge thanks to all the community who supported the event, your support as always is greatly appreciated.
