This was a very tight game played down in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, on Wednesday night, this was our third game in the group stages, with two loses in first two games against Athea/ Mountcollins on a scoreline of 2-8 to 0-12 and then in round 2 we lost to St. Senan’s on a scoreline of 2-11 to 3-06, and in round 3 we drew with Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue on a scoreline of 0-10 apiece, to leave the group in the following order after the group stages Athea/ Mountcollins and St. Senan’s both on 4 points, Granagh/ Ballingarry/Banogue and Dromcollogher/ Broadford and this result puts into the B Final against the winners of Clann Na Ngael and Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue, on Friday November 23rd, in Mick Neville Park (Rathkeale), at 6.45pm and referee to be announced.  Please Support our U21 Footballers management team led by Kevin McGill and our U21 Footballers led by Jack Ryan Captain.

 

Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue scored the first two points of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with the next three points all coming form Denis Donegan to give us the lead for the first time during by a point.  Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue scored the next four points to lead by three points and then Ronan Cahill of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point just before the break to leave 2 points between the sides at end of the half.  To leave the score at half-time Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue 0-6 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-4.

 

Denis Donegan scored the first two points of the second half for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to bring the sides on level terms for third time during the game and then Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue scored the next point to take the lead once again.  James Molyneaux scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next to bring sides back on level terms for the fourth time during the game and then Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue to the lead once again by a scoring a pointed free.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Denis Donegan and Damien Burke to give us the back the lead once again by a point and then Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue scored the next point to bring sides back on level terms for the sixth time during the game.  Damien Burke scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to give us the back the lead once again by a point and then Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue scored the last point of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the seven time during the game.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-10 to Granagh/ Ballingarry/ Banogue 0-10.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

Results of the 313th draw took place on Monday November 12th, in the Corner House, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 3, 12, 19, 25 there was no winner of the jackpot at €2,200 and there was two winners of match three at €100 and they each got €50 and they were: James Noonan, Dromcollogher and John Browne, Newcastle West and the two lucky dips of €50 each and they were: Bridie Noonan, Dromcollogher and Kathleen Barry, Broadford and the next draw is taking place on this coming Monday November 19th, in Begley’s Bar, Broadford and the Jackpot is going up to €2,300 and the match three is staying at €100.  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
