SENIOR HURLERS 

 

A big week ahead for our Senior Hurlers as they prepare for the Munster Club Final on Sunday where they face Ballygunner in Thurles. 

Throw in is at 2pm and we urge all our supporters to get behind the team on Sunday 

We wish Paul Beary and his management team and full panel of players the very best wishes for the game. 

Incidentally our club shop opens this Saturday morning for all your club colours . 

Shop open from 945 to 11am. 

 

UNDER 16 CAMOGIE 

 

Our under 16 camogie team were in action over the weekend in the replay of the County Final with Granagh Ballingarry. 

What a brilliant match our girls played but unfortunately came up just short losing agonisingly by a single point. 

Final Score was Granagh Ballingarry 4-9 Na Piarsaigh 6-2

Well done to all involved with the team this year.

 

UNDER 21 FOOTBALLERS

 

Our under 21 footballers suffered their 2nd defeat in a week when they fell short against Mungret on a 0-9 to 0-6 scoreline.

Though a better performance this time out we still fielded to finish our chances.

Nevertheless the lads are going well and with Cian and Eoin at the helm they will be improving week on week

 

CONALL O CATHAILLAIN TOURNAMENT

 

We held our Annual tournament in memory of Donall on Saturday where we had a great of under 11 hurling.

Our guests this time around were Ballincollig of Cork and Michael Cusacks of Galway.

An excellent afternoon of hurling all round and we thank all those who made it happen.

Our weekly bingo is going strong with a steady group turning up each Tuesday evening.
