The Gaelic Grounds is the place to be tomorrow evening when it hosts the homecoming for newly-crowned All-Ireland hurling champions Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council in association with Limerick GAA are inviting supporters to come and join the free family-friendly party at the event which will see Limerick parade the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the first time in 45 years.

The homecoming is a ticket-only event with free tickets available from Eventbrite.ie from 6pm this evening. You will need a ticket to enter the Gaelic Grounds, so please don't come without one.

Gates will open at 4pm with entertainment beginning shortly afterwards. Once the stadium is at full capacity, no others will be admitted.

There will also be widespread traffic restrictions around the Gaelic Grounds with supporters intending to attend the homecoming advised to use public transport or leave their cars in the city centre.
