County Junior A Football Championship
Fr. Caseys 2-10 Monagea 0-08
Fr. Caseys Junior A Footballers made it three wins from three in the new All-County Junior A Football Championship last Saturday evening in Tournafulla with a hard fought 8 point victory over West rivals Monagea. The game was in the melting pot with ten minutes remaining but Fr. Caseys young team showed experience beyond their years to close out the game in style. With one group game remaining against Oola, Fr. Caseys have guaranteed themselves a place in the knockout stages. Victory in their final game will guarantee top spot in the group and hopefully a shorter route to the final. The next group game vs Oola is scheduled for mid-September
Good Luck Limerick
Fr. Caseys GAA Club would like to wish the Limerick Senior Hurling team the very best of luck this coming Sunday as they bid to end a 45 years wait and bring Liam McCarthy back to Shannonside. They take on Galway at 3.30pm in Croke Park in the All-Ireland Hurling Final. We hope all our club members travelling to the game have a safe and enjoyable trip. The draw for our club allocation of All-Ireland tickets took place last Monday night and all winners have since been personally contacted. As with all clubs across the county of Limerick, the demand for tickets greatly outweighed the allocated amount.
Spin & Win Draw
The weekly spin and win draw took place last Monday night, August 13th in the GAA Clubhouse. The following were the lucky winners on the night: Stephen, Ronan & Jack €50; Derry Quirke €40; Cooper Donavan €100
Next week's jackpot will be €5,400. The draw will take place on Monday night, August 20th at 9.15pm in the GAA Clubhouse. The spinners are as follows: Dio O'Connor, Chris Foley, Kelly & Mark Fitzgerald (Yearly Ticket)
